We create environmental solutions that develop and add value to our client's projects.
In the Environment Business Unit, we develop multidisciplinary environmental studies in five fields of expertise: Energy, Industry, Environmental Planning, Sanitation and Waste and Transport. This area operates in Portugal and in several international markets, in particular, Africa and Latin America.
The types of studies we develop range from Environmental Management Planning, including Strategic Environmental Assessments, to specific studies that include the environmental licensing of projects and/or monitoring of the various phases of a project: Environmental Due Diligence - EDD, Environmental Feasibility Study, Environmental Impact Study, Environmental Compliance Report on Detailed Design, Environmental Follow-up and Environmental Monitoring. The Environment Area also includes Climate Change and Carbon Market projects.
Our major Environmental Impact studies include the studies for ten hydroelectric projects and twenty wind farms in Portugal, the combined-cycle power station in Figueira da Foz, Environmental Due Diligences for eight airports in Portugal, four in Brazil and one in Peru, and many other studies in Europe, Africa, and Latin America.
