Sofia has collaborated with the Quadrante Group since 2000 and was responsible for the hydraulics division from 2013 to 2021. She is currently Project Manager and Operations Director in the Waste and Water Utilities Business Unit, where she continues to coordinate large and complex multidisciplinary projects both nationally and internationally. Sofia Almeida has 24 years' professional experience, being involved in the coordination of sanitation and water supply, river revetment and flood control projects, from the planning and design phase to the detailed design phase, as well as in water resources planning in Portugal and other countries such as Algeria, Libya, Tanzania, Côte D'Ivoire, Chile, Nigeria and Angola.
