Rodrigo Ferreira is a Biophysical Engineer (1999), with an MSc in Nature Conservancy (2003) and a PhD in Biodiversity Management (2017). Currently, Rodrigo is the Head of Business Unit – Environment in Quadrante since March 2023, also being the Market Leader of Mozambique. He has 23+ years of international professional experience in environmental consulting for clients in the Power, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas and Mining sectors, with a focus on business development, project management, E&S risk analysis and technical/ commercial/ project team leadership. He has a solid track record (+180 projects) and interest in sustainable international finance, including advisory and support to developers and lender/ECA process, auditing, environmental risk analysis for capital projects and impact assessment and monitoring for major capital projects, disturbed areas restoration, and land use planning. Rodrigo worked permanently in Mozambique (2010 - 2014), acting as Manager of the Environmental Department of Royal-Haskoning DHV, and in South Africa (2015 - 2019) and Brussels (2020-2023), acting as Principal Consultant and Associated Partner at Environmental Resources Management (ERM).
