Lagoaça Substation

- The Lagoaça 400/220/60 kV substation, considered the first green substation, in compliance with the standards issued by the Environmental Impact Statement, aims at expanding the 400 kV and 200 kV network and improving the load flow capacity of the Pocinho-Valdigem line, besides increasing energy exchange between Portugal and Spain. It also aims at increasing the capacity for receiving power from renewable energy sources in the region. The plant has a capacity for four 400 kV modules and sixteen 220 kV bays. Since there was a need for a careful integration of the plant with the International Douro Natural Park, we tried to restructure "model" buildings planned for the plant, in order to improve its integration with the surroundings. The detailed design included all the construction works associated with this type of construction.

- Development of all civil construction projects, in particular: Architecture, structures, plumbing, technical installations, fire safety, telecommunications, earthworks, road network and drainage.
